Completed 100% of the land clearing, reclamation, and urban layout allocation, including the paving and compaction of red dirt roads. The total length of the urban road network is 16 km. Furthermore, the installation of street lighting along the Mekong Riverbank within the Smart City urban zone over a length of 4.5 km has been 100% completed.

Ongoing work involves preparing for the construction of concrete roads within the urban layout, the street lighting system, and planting trees to decorate the roads. Additionally, establishing a dedicated water treatment plant to prepare sufficient water supply specifically for use within the Smart City. Currently, preparations are beginning for the construction of the 5-star Jade Naga Hotel (Phayanak Yok) to accommodate both domestic and international tourists coming to use the services.

Preparing to survey, design, and study the feasibility for the construction of a bridge crossing the Mekong River to facilitate the transportation of materials and equipment to serve the project’s construction. Additionally, the citizens of Luang Prabang City and Chomphet District will experience greater convenience in travel and communication, and the local people’s economy will progressively prosper day by day.
