Development and Infrastructure Plan
Completed Work
- Completed 80% of urban road network construction and land reclamation/surface leveling
- Installed utility poles and extended the electrical power line into the project
- Installed street lighting systems along the main roads and installed solar-cell light poles along the Mekong Riverbank over a length of 4 km
Ongoing Work
- Constructing concrete roads within the urban layout
- Establishing a water treatment plant and wastewater treatment system
- Constructing drainage channels
- Walkways / Pedestrian paths
- Constructing and installing solar-cell pole systems and lighting systems
- Constructing and improving roadside embankments/reclaimed land
- Painting road curbs, planting trees on both sides of the road, and planting grass
Bridge Construction Plan
The Company has coordinated with the Office of the Investment Promotion and Management Committee and the Department of Public Works and Transport of Luang Prabang Province to conduct a feasibility study and design for the construction of a bridge crossing the Mekong River from the area of Changhai Village, Pakou District, to cross over to the project area at Sanokmoungkhoun Village, Chomphet District, Luang Prabang Province.
Cable Car
The cable car is planned to be constructed around the Modern City project zone with a total distance of approximately 5,300 meters, and there are plans to construct various viewpoints within an area of 563 hectares. The details are as follows:
- Large Buddha Statue (Phra Chao Yai)
- Bungalow-style accommodations
- Restaurants and viewing decks
- Bicycle tracks
- Cable car system surrounding the city
